I am back after almost 2 years. I've been quite busy and I had to change my server so It took me some time to manage to write again. I am home today and I have a cold. I try to work at home with this pathetic dialup connection.

I decided to write again. I don't know why I am so lazy for writing here. I have another class with the same PI1 students this term. They are in PI2 now with some other students. Today is their final exam and I hope all of them will pass. I have quitted working in the morning since June and I am studying for the MS entrance exam of computer engineering. I hope to start my photoblog soon. I missed learning French too. That's all for now.

I started my first asp.net as a project manager last week. It is an accounting system based on our previous accounting system. It is a good experience of team working and team management. Although I am not very experienced in C# but since I've worked on web projects for more than 4 years, I can cope with it easily. I have good coders and they work quite fast. I hope that I can handle this project like the other projects I've had before. Last night was the friendly football match between Iran and Croatia. Because of that 2 of my 4 students didn't show up and the other two begged me to cancel the class. I couldn't cancel the class. I told them: "when you don't like to stay in the class, I cannot keep you in the class" so I let them go. I stayed in the class for another 15 minutes and then went downstairs to watch the second half of the football match. It was not a bad game but Iran couldn't keep its victory and we had a tie game at the 94th minute. I wish success for our national team in the Germany world cup 2006.

I had a great day yesterday. I had my first co-ed class and the nice thing about it is that it is located in the place where I used to learn French privately. It was a good experience. As you may know, everything in Iran is Islamized! and language teachers have to mime the concept of different sexes. Well one good point about the co-ed class is that you don't need to mime. You have boys and girls in your class! The second benefit of this kind of class is that students usually don't miss the class! They are motivated and they learn better. Another good experience for me is teaching Interchange 3rd Edition. It is a great book and I hope I can teach it as greately as it is!

I started a bad week. The time table I gave to the Kish institute was not correct. Instead of 8-10 at night I had put a mark in 8-10 in the morning in the time sheet. The supervisor was very angry with me because I didn't attend the 8-10 class in the morning and because I hadn't given them a free time for 8-10 at night, they hadn't given me a class. But yesterday was a great day. Mr. Ahanchi, the head of a private institute, called me and told me that their classes will start next week. I also went to Kish institute as a substitute teacher and afterwards they told me that I have a new PI1 class. The class is good but I have a problem. They are only 4 students in the class and it makes it a bit difficult for me. I should work on lots of extra activities. I hope I can handle this class as great as ever.
